Upon arrival, we received a welcoming introduction. Our room, while a bit on the dark side, was ultra-clean and functional, which is all you really need while travelling with little ones. With a child under four, I appreciated the ground floor accommodation; it made maneuvering with our child easy. The location is a standout feature; with a small sports field at the back, we enjoyed watching families exercising, and it inspired our little one to join in. While the hotel doesn't provide dinner options, there's a variety of restaurants just a short walk away, just enough for families who want to explore nearby dining without the fuss of driving. Breakfast was straightforward, with croissants and juice, though a bit more variety would have been welcome for our busy day ahead. Hostal Xaloa is a solid choice for families looking for a quiet getaway in a charming coastal village.
